THE DAILY DELIVERS
Robust, reliable
and productive and as agile and comfortable as
a passenger car.
Daily Van
The Daily
Van is now firmly established in the hit
parade of the leading vehicles in the light
on-road transport sector. In response to
the demands of an increasingly competitive
market, the Daily Van specialises in three
Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) ranges so that
it can meet a wide range of operating requirements:
-
Class L: 3,200 kg GVW vans, the
entry level vehicle in Iveco’s
commercial and industrial vehicle
range
-
Class S: 3,500 kg GVW vans, Iveco’s
mid-range vehicle for the van professional
-
Class C: 3,500 to 6,500 kg GVW vans,
for all the most heavy-duty applications.

Load Capacity
Available in three wheelbases and three roof heights,
for a total of eight combination variants, the
Daily Van offers record-breaking load dimensions,
at the very peak of light transport capacities:
interior load lengths from 2,600 to 4,560 mm,
and volumes from 7 to 17 m3, the largest volume
in this weight category.
Frame
Extremely robust and reliable, thanks to the structure
with sheet steel body bolted onto a side member
frame, every component of the Daily Van is optimised
so as to maximise profitability.
The front independent wheel suspension
offers consistently high driving comfort, whilst
the rigid rear axles, with single or twin wheels
and also with self-levelling air suspension, allow
all working requirements to be matched perfectly:
this also applies for the transport of delicate
goods and when the load platform height is required
to be particularly low.
Strength
The Chassis Cab Daily is a leader in strength
and reliability, mounted on a strong “C”-section
frame, flexible and light, made of high yield
steel. The rear drive, with rigid axles, ensures
maximum robustness and mechanical reliability
even in the most heavy-duty bodies and uses: up
to 2,300 kg maximum load allowed on the front
axle, up to 5,000 kg on the rear axle, and a GVW
up to 6,500 kg.
Engines
After the launch of the Daily HPI in 2002, Daily
is completing the renewing of its engine range
with a new 3-litre that is the result of IVECO’s
excellence in the development and the production
of diesel engines.
The new 3 litre engine with “best
in class” performances and “flat”
torque curve is characterized by high elasticity,
higher driving comfort, lower fuel consumption
and reduced maintenance costs.
Daily Chassis
The substance of a light commercial
vehicle, with the agility and comfort of a passenger
car. Offered (in a configuration with) single
or twin-wheel rear axle, the Chassis Cab Daily
has been designed and built so as to offer versatility
and high levels of profitability in the most severe
operating conditions.
The specialisation based on three
Classes of loading capacity - Class L/ Class S/
Class C - and the wide choice of engines, axles
and suspensions mean that any variant whatsoever
can be built, in order to meet the most specific
operating needs in light transport.
Cab
Easily accessible, fully thermically and acoustically
insulated, the cab of the Daily, both in the normal
and crew version, offers a spacious, ergonomic
and comfortable working environment. In order
to eliminate noise and vibrations it has:
- anti-vibration flexible mountings;
- the engine, positioned outside the compartment,
is separated by sound-absorbing panelling;
- insulating seals are inserted between the
various component fittings.
96CV: HPI turbo intercooler engine,
2.3 liter with second generation common-rail injection
system; max output from 2.900 to 3.900 rpm and
torque of 240Nm from 1.800 to 2.800 rpm.
Body & Equipment
Thanks to the rational design
and robustness of the frame, with a completely
flat top surface to facilitate bodybuilders‘
job, and to the 6 available wheelbases, which
allow body lengths from 2.55 m up to a maximum
of 6.2 m, the Chassis Cab Daily offers tailor-made
specialised solutions for any possible light transport
requirement. Ideal for fixed and tipper bodies,
alloy box bodies, isothermal box bodies with or
without refrigeration unit; for any kind of special
application: roadside assistance, crane trucks,
municipal services, aerial platforms, campers.
Daily Agile
From today the Daily range will
be enhanced with the new Daily AGile, which is
easier and more pleasant to drive thanks to its
automated gearbox.
Designed especially for use with commercial vehicles,
the six-speed automated gearbox, with no clutch
pedal increases driver comfort by allowing attention
to be concentrated on the road, reducing tiredness
at the wheel.
It can be used in two modes:
• Automatic, particularly
suitable for use in town;
• Manual, by using the gears sequentially,
for those who prefer a more dynamic style of driving.
A display situated on the driver’s
side enables the mode selected and gear engaged
to be read with ease.
Designed to acknowledge and be
adaptable to all driving styles, the Daily AGile
not only improves fuel consumption, but also prevents
any possible gear-change errors even in manual
mode therefore increasing the life of the whole
transmission system.
These qualities make the Daily AGile the ideal
vehicle for those who drive in traffic for long
periods: door-to-door delivery drivers and many
other tasks such as ambulances, campers, people-transporters
and council vehicles. The AGile is available in
all the Daily models with the 2.3 litre HPI engine
offering either 96 or 116 HP.
